Genuine Nissan TPMS sensors and parts keep the tire pressure warning working the way it did from the factory. This page lists the sensors that sit inside each wheel, the receivers that read them, and the valves, grommets and nuts used when a tire is serviced.
TPMS Sensors, Receivers and Service Parts
Use the Product Type filter
The page also picks up other pressure sensors, like A/C and fuel pressure sensors, because they share the word pressure. Choose TPMS Sensor under Product Type to see the 27 sensors, or TPMS Receiver for the 19 receivers. Control modules are listed as well. A receiver usually only needs replacing when the dash shows a TPMS fault that new sensors do not clear.
Sensors by model
Most sensors come with the cap, grommet and valve. 40700-6RA0B is listed for the Rogue and ARIYA, 40700-9DJ0A for the Murano, Maxima and Pathfinder, and 40700-6YT0A for the TITAN and TITAN XD. The Armada uses 40700-6WY0B, and 40700-6UA0B covers the Altima, Frontier, Pathfinder, LEAF and Murano from October 2023.
Build dates change the sensor
The Kicks and Versa show how a date can split the part: 40770-6LB1A is listed up to December 2020, 40700-6LB0A from December 2020 to April 2024, and 40700-6LY0A from April 2024. On the Z, 40700-6GP0A is listed up to February 2024 and 40700-1YC0A from there.
Winter and tire pressure
Cold air lowers tire pressure, so the warning light often comes on during the first cold mornings of the season. Check and adjust pressure with a gauge before you assume a sensor has failed. If the light stays on with correct pressure, or flashes and then stays lit, a sensor or its battery may be the cause.
Service parts
When a tire is changed or a sensor is moved to new wheels, replace the valve parts. Sensor valve 40704-JK00A, grommet 40708-3VA0A and sensor nut 40780-JA02A are on the page, and spare tire sensor assembly 40700-1AY0A is listed too. New sensors need to be registered to the vehicle after installation, so follow the procedure for your model or have the tire shop do it when they mount the tires. FAQs
Why did my tire pressure light come on when it got cold?
Cold air lowers tire pressure. Check all four tires with a gauge and adjust them before replacing a sensor.
Do Nissan TPMS sensors come with the valve?
Most of them do. Many listings, like 40700-6RA0B, include the cap and valve.
Which sensor fits my Kicks?
It depends on the build date: 40770-6LB1A to December 2020, 40700-6LB0A to April 2024 and 40700-6LY0A after.
Why do I see A/C sensors here?
They share the word pressure. Choose TPMS Sensor under Product Type to see only tire sensors.
Are these genuine Nissan parts?
Yes. They are genuine Nissan parts sold by My Nissan Part.
